king weird listening to him on TV. I thought he did quite well in the first couple of debates but since then it seems to have become one tired string of cliches rather than any proper reasons why I'd want to vote for him?
Because he doesn't actually want to tell the country what he would do - after all, that's the way to not get elected. So it's on the Tony BLiar system of PR.....

I always used to think that British politics was a step above the US style party flag waving tosh, even if it lacked credibility by its very nature.
So someone elects (no pun intended) to persue a US style TV 'head to head', that allows the leader of our poorly third party to show he's just as good as the rest at doing a spot in front the camera at allocated prime time, given the opportunity.
All of a sudden the Lib Dems are a serious threat to the other two parties, WTF?
Their policies haven't changed, so why have they suddenly become a viable proposition?
Clegg is just the new kid on the 'sound bite' block, a role given to him by this new debate format.
These televised debates just gave the leader of an historically bland party an equal time in the spotlight.
Nothing's changed.

The guy winds me up something rotten. At best a cut-price Bliar wannabee and when he doesn't have his notes in front of him he reminds me of a petulant 4 year old when faced with frank questioning.
What winds me up even more is the morons that have been taken in by this superficial career politician prick.

It's a vacuous msg of 'change', 'that way the old politics' etc.
