What an odd thing to report. Found, but not really.

Not odd at all.

They are just announcing that they have located properly where the boxes must be. Up to now they didn't have the data.

They will now be able to launch a targetted retrieval operation.

I understand the report, just think the headline on the BBC is a bit misleading. Its still very very lost after all. Poor reporting. 'Search for Air France Black Box narrowed down' would be more accurate.

I see the page has been editted, and the headline changed to include 'site' now. As in 'site found'.
