....in response to my posts in favour of the Conservatives.

It is clearly impartial as a quick search on Wiki shows this reporter is a leftie who supports the Greens.

However, I wanted to get the pro-Tory PH view on the issues raised...

I wouldn't bother, from what I've seen on Facebook today the "Democracy UK" page is full of Lab/Lib lunatics. There isn't time enough in the day to correct them all. Plus, people on Facebook during the day aren't exactly productive members of society wink

That article was in yesterday's (free) Independent. The reference to it was right next to the editorial where they were claiming to be politically impartial.

Was that the article that said this?

Despite the drama of recent weeks, there remains a considerable risk that Britain could wake up on Friday morning to discover we are in for four or five more years of "business as usual" politics under a Conservative government.
That word "risk" (my bold) says it all. They are not impartial at all.

When the Independant was launched, it was a breath of fresh air. Sadly it turned into a Monarchy hating, anti-semitic left wing propoganda sheet. I gave up reading it years ago.

The last time that I bought a copy was after some of Robert Fisk's Muslim friends gave him a good kicking. It was a pleasure to read his explanation of their "understandable", but "misguided" actions.rofl Still cheers me up to this day. The same sort of smile as you got when Gordon referred to "that woman" as a "bigot".

Ahhhhh.. there are some sweet moments in life.

Better that than "business as usual" politics under a Labour government.
FFS.
