Something about her reminds me of a goose - she has that whole mouth-cheek thing going on. Which is ironic, probably.

More significantly, I'm more happy that Ms Gosling can actually do the job she's paid for - that is reading the damned news properly, telling us stuff in a string of easy to comprehend, factual sentences. No deep cut blouses to flash her cleavage, no inflections on every other word to make us think she's really quite interesting and witty, no overfamiliarity with reporters forcing them to hide the fact that they think she's a bh, no shaved eyebrows to make it look as if she is interested in the male viewer, oh yeah we know all your tricks and by the way Ms Bruce hi-def does you no favours. To then bleat that you don't get taken seriously just highlights what a shameless egotist you are.

No, Ms Gosling just tells us what's happened - no fuss, no fakery, just good old-fashioned facts in an authoritative voice, straight, no chaser. I'll take that over another media we any day, 6.00pm-6.27pm (5.05pm Saturdays). That she passes muster in the looks department is bonus, but nothing more.
