Was discussing this with a few colleagues yesterday, we're not sure how it works.

The PM and the chosen cabinet were also elected as their local MPs. So how can they be doing both roles - local constituency work and their cabinet role? Strikes me that the cabinet role will take priority, with the work they would have typically done for the contituency either taking a very low priority or being undertaken by a bunch of deputies.

He still will, or should be.

They may change it to appointment only for local constituents to deter the fan boys.

According to the Cabinet Office it is the Prime Minister's Political Office who handle constituency issues.

They all have constituency teams who will look after the phones/email etc.

They still need to occasionally carry out surgeries etc - but more work will be done by local councillors to help out.
