I can see why they felt offended, I can see why the B&B owners didn't want them sharing a room.

What I can't see is the point in wrecking a couple livelihood over some hurt feelings, just seems totally OTT.

The flip side is, if you don't like certain people being in your home, opening a B&B isn't such a great idea.

Did anyone see that 'Three in a bed' programme where B&B owners rate each other's establishments? There was a gay only B&B on there, but I can't see any heterosexual couples suing them. . . . . .

These two gays guys obviously think they have a case but it seems a bit vindictive to me. If they aren't doing it for the money then I assume a successful case will see them donate any proceeds to charity......

Will be interesting to see the outcome of this one.

Compensation culture dictates that hurt feelings = huge pile of cash. I await the counter action for religious persecution

I'm not hijacking this in any way but it begs the question whether or not the case would be thrown clean out of the water had it been a Muslim owner refusing "gays" on grounds of religion.

If I were the B&B owner, I would refuse them entry on the grounds I don't like the look of them one bit, regardless of what they do with their willies.

I'd be pretty pissed off if I booked a B&B to attend a friends party, and then when I got there they wouldn't let me in because I'm short/gay/a woman/black/ginger/Muslim*

If you don't like the idea of certain types of people being in your house, running a B&B is possibly the wrong profession. They deserve to be sued

Rubbish. Some people shouldn't leave their own homes.

I got turfed out of a B&B in wales about 15 years ago because I was not married to the young lady I was staying with.

They said they don't have any funny business under their roof.

B&B owners are a funny lot.

I don't think I've once ever stayed in a B&B where the owner could be described as normal.

One place I stayed in had a toilet, in the middle of the room, surrounded by a curtain. So you could have a st in the room, but not be seen by your roommate. And I do mean, slap bang in the middle of the room.
