She sounds drunk at the end off the meeting.I think it was only a matter of time before this happened, her outgoings far exceed her income.

With a £15K a year divorce settlement. Not massive, but I could eek out an existence with that as my starting point.

News of the World in "World Fuelled by Backhanders" Shocker.

Seriously, what's the point of these 'stings', to show everyone that money corrupts? Yeah, we know.

Why is she pleading poverty on a 15k settlement? Get an average job (25/30k) and that's a 45k a year income. Hardly sharing the bathwater time, is it.

Get a real job, the same as everyone else, you fking ginger irritant.

To sell newspapers?

Despite an age where eveything is available on the net, 3-4 million people still buy the notw/sun per day (quite a sad statistic imo) so these guys are obviously doing something correct.

Fergie's spokeswoman said:
The Duchess of York is "devastated" and "regretful" after newspaper claims she offered to sell access to ex-husband Prince Andrew
Devastated that she got caught more like.

As others have said, if £15k ain't enough then get a proper job.

Part of me thinks it's pretty pathetic on the part of the NOTW, going for the low hanging fruit. Like the Mails sting on Triesman, it does more damage to this country reporting it than the corruption it exposes. The BBC seem to be reporting this pretty widely as well, not really sure why, would've liked to have thought it was beneath them. I don't need the media to reinforce in my mind that Sarah Ferguson is dim, a bit of a loose cannon and can probably be bought.

Next they'll be telling me that tanning salons and nail bars are used to launder drug money, and that not all football transfers are 100 percent legit.

The video only seems to state that the money is for an introduction.

I don't think it is that bad, I would do the same for introductions.

On the topic of NOTW stings, has anything happened to John Higgins yet? Best guesses as to what his eventual punishment will be?

I find it ironic that news papers report stings like this one.

Lets face it, it's the most likely way any of these reporters get their contacts. Brown envelopes under tables to get the mobile number of celebrity x or sports man y.
