The way he speaks just isn't normal, does he have some kind of speech difficulty?

Some newspaper was claiming he had regular speech therapy.

He was on Have I got news for you this week and it was brought up. He denied it completely, but imo looked very uncomfortable talking about it.

Does it make any difference?

I have an occasional stutter which can sometimes make using the phone a pain in the arse, but I've been living with it since I learned to talk

Can't blame him, it's f**k all to do with anyone but him if he has had any therapy.

Nope I was just posing the question. But it does make listening to him difficult at times!

I read that he had a fairly serious speech impediment as a child and has learned various techniques to overcome it. I think this explains his strange delivery.

I don't mind it actually.

I agree. Who cares if he has had it!

I've never for a second thought that the way he speaks is odd. He was on the Radio 4 Friday Night Comedy show a few weeks ago, he was pretty funny.

He was on R4 a few minutes ago, and I was wondering about this.

To tell the truth, he has bigger things to worry about. His main claim to fame was his ability to be first with the breaking stories. This was due to his freindship with senior Labour people. Now that Labour are out of office, Mr Peston's usefulness is greatly reduced.

The irony. One spouts off on TV but the real expert frequents an Internet car forum.rofl

Dear, he isn't an expert, he is a Labour shill that, allegedly, was releasing information that maybe he shouldn't have been. Please go back to divining in your estate for gold.
