What in gods name are they trying to do when they say his name?

I don't understand why they slip into full blown "allez les bleus" mode for his name - it's just damned weird.

Well, they're just pronouncing his name correctly. Reversing your argument, it's just a shame they have a "British up" when he's not around.

Yes. Jane Hill is bloody lovely as well. Can't believe she's a carpet muncher.

Oh and if you want a laugh listen listen to Fiona Bruce's Italian inflection when she says "Cappello".

I take the point, I still think they overdo it though. You don't hear them talking about Nelson Mandela in a "Pork Pie" accent.

They are just trying to avoid an international incident.

You know how uptight those midgets can be.

Shame, such a shame. That would be funny.

I prefer Nina Hussein. God damn, she is utterly scrumptious.

No way. Nina wishes she was Mishal.

Plus she's ITV. Council.

Carla Broony didn't get the same treatment.

Half is how you pronounce something, half is the French accent.
They seem to have too much accent at the moment.
