In the playground article, it seems that it's fine to stand at the perimeter and wk furiously over your own kids but just don't step into the playground itself or you'll be in trouble.

Don't suppose there's any chance of this sort of nonsense being put away along with the laws we've all said we'd like repealed?

That's what I was thinking. I don't think it's a law as such but "recommendations" from Ofsted. Wow... what if Ofsted recommended that all parents be flogged? Or all MILF had to wear bikinis? Or all parents could only hop when entering school premises? Or all parents had to name their children "Tinkerbell"? How do I get to work for Ofsted?

"Remind me who won WW2 again?"

The USA?

I am curious, do they still expect men to try and protect kids from danger, or should we stand back and watch them get hurt, because we are not CRB checked?

I would not want to fall foul of the law.

Mercedes, BMW, VAG, Bosch, Siemens, etc.
If we are considering the post war successes of the major European protagonists.

I'd say Russia. The battle of Kursk alone makes D-day look like a paintball skirmish.

The Mail takes a single incident and then uses it to generate a claim that the whole of the UK will be affected by this single incident.

It is never positive.

It is always foretelling the demise of the country.

To me, the paper represents a form of "cancer" in itself - a cancer of the mind and of the national psyche.

One could argue that to let single incidents, whatever the issue, go without comment allows things to spread, ignored, like a cancer.

Don't worry, that The Mail will NEVER do.

The trouble is, they NEVER report in any other way. Never a compliment, Never a congratulation. Never a positive.

Just a constant drip-feed of doom and gloom.
