"Mr Brown also said he is not considering retiring, saying he is "very cheerful" and "very relaxed" and enjoying his work as an MP in Kircaldy and Cowdenbeath. "

What? no way, how much time has he spent in Parliament since leaving office?

attended what 2 maybe 3 days, and not attended a single vote, but happy to take the money.

"He visited Africa to deliver his first major speech since leaving office"

Why? Think of all the Co2 he's emitted by flying there. I think he should stop breathing to make up for it.

Who cares what he says? It's all been proven to be a pack of lies! Horrible example of humanity!

See he's not interested in gaining 'personal honours and titles'

That's OK then

Neither was a well loved "Lord Oaf, of Pies".

I cannot see him refusing a Lordship.

Brown: "Where I come from, everything's fooked, totally, though it wasn't my fault. So now I'm here, in Africa, to inspire and encourage you to seize the opportunity because back home is such a mess that they're far too busy blaming each other and sometimes trying to sort out the mess I didn't leave behind to notice you lot taking every cent the EU and more importantly, the Chinese, will give you and doing whatever the fook you want with it. And I can help, it is right that I am here and i can tell you how to cook the books, lie, cheat, connive and become invisible when the st hits the fan."

President (for life) Goodnight Johnson: "Ok, mate, whatever you say, but please, don't stay too long, and thanks for not bringing your wife, she's only marginally less ugly than you but we couldn't cope with the both of you. We had your mates Blair and Mandelson ring us last week with a better deal, and we'd rather have Mandy and his erm, unique tastes, along with Blair and his ghastly wife than you and your bullst speeches. Bye."

I didn't know he was still an MP. In fact I thought he was dead.

He says his reputation wasn't damaged during his time as PM, which is probably the closest he has ever been to being right. Most people I know thought he was a half wit before he was PM as well.

Even in defeat the guy's self deluision is staggering. Two days in parliament since the election for an MP who would, "Fight for Britain and fight for the future of Britain,". And of course, don't forget "Nothing is more important to me than eradicating child poverty,".

I have no sympathy for this horrible man at all. I would very much like a world where this man is never heard from again except as terrible warning in the history books for what happens when you hand a country over to a man so far out of his depth he can't even see the bottom of the pool. I hope that the next news item that we hear about him is when his wife takes his kids to stay with her "special friend" in Canterbury on a long term basis. That should shut him up for a bit.

"I don't think the titles matter to me, they never did when I was in Downing Street, I've never been interested in honours... or just being given a name or title for doing something."

yeah right, like you said you would give up Politics and work for charity. I wonder how long before he does a U turn on this like that other Labour Liar Presclot.
Words simply cannot describe my utter contempt for this administration, they epitomise all that is wrong with British Politics.
