Not a happy trip to the Emerald Isle I suppose. As Austin Powers so famously asked; "Really, who throws shoes?". Are there many RoPers in Dublin?:

To be fair, those offering support and getting a book signed outnumbered the protestors 2 to 1. Is it true Blair is donating all proceeds from the book to wounded soldiers? Does that include the $7m advance as well?

It appears there was a bigger queue for his book signing.

As ever, a noisy minority makes the headlines.

Yes and yes - it includes the £4.6m advance.
But there's a great silence around whether this donation will be used to offset his somewhat larger income from after dinner speaking and general smuggery.

Almost as great a silence as how much Maggie Thatcher donated to charity from her book and lecture tours,

In actual fact, Blair is probably more popular iin Ireland than in many other places. He is looked on as being instrumental in making the running in bringing (relative) peace to Northern Ireland.

Why, did he not make the running then?

Things were pretty much stalemate until New Labour came to power (and I do recognise John Major for the 1995 agreement - which was the 1st step in the chain of events).

Pity that no matter how much the Royal British Legion get from bLiar, it will be eclipsed by the amount WE spend on the security keeping the war criminal alive / safe from flip flops frown
