Each his own, each his own. She didn't seem to mind being abused though, I like that in a woman.

Don't forget that she is trying to defend her boss, Rupert Murdoch. People accuse the BBC of biased reporting but you don't get this type of inane questionning on the BBC (or even C4 and ITV).

After the Adam Boulton incident during the election it says a lot about the standard of journalism on Sky.

The labour party are attacking Murdoch, even though the Guardian and Mirror engaged in the same behaviour.

Not denying that. However, I have a very low opinion of Murdoch and his methods and if his journos have been breaking the law, then they deserve whatever gets thrown at them.

What that they won't take cr*p from slimy Labour spin doctors. It is a change from the rest of the media treating them like gods I would agree.

He got into trouble for that..... and now has a 'deputy' (which he's not happy about).

There's "not taking crap" and "performing like a professional". They may adhere to the former but failed utterly on the latter.

I always think that Max Hastings is the epitomy of what Right Wing Journalism should be like. He NEVER lost his cool and always makes extremely strong points.

However cool you may be, interviewing something with reptilian DNA must be unnerving.

But professional journalists should always keep their cool - they shouldn't lose their rag. I agree that some politicians want to make me shiver, but dissolving into a flustered jibbering wreck in front of them is not going to impress the viewer.

I agree. It also immediately displays the political colours of the interviewer.

Rumours are that Bolton thinks he's bigger than the job, the interview demonstrated that perfectly.

Yes, dissolving into a flustered jibbering wreck is not good. Punching the reptile would be far better.
