I don't tend to watch the news, or read papers. To be honest I learn most 'news' through word of mouth. Then decide to look it up if it sounds interesting. Reason for this being that half of the 'news' isn't news and the other half tends to be bad news. A new rapist, murderer, paedo, gunman etc on the loose. Doom and gloom, I want to read a bit of good news!

Either this or something about Kerry Katona, Katie Price, Peter Andre.... I am not interested in what is going on in their lives!!

I do wonder if my slight ignorance to a lot of goings on is quite normal.. or whether most people watch the news and read the paper every day??


Don't get me wrong, I'm not in my own little bubble. Just not completely bang up to date with current affairs.

I don't bother with news much - tend to grab some newspapers now and again (or read them online).

Hmmm, I think the only time I get a paper is in manchester on my dinner break because the MEN is free. But then it's just something to carry round and dispose of..

I tend to get my news from PH.
Tends to be a link to The Daily Mail (what will Soovy post if they start charging for online content?) from that link I often end up "researching" other stuff on there

I find it best to only read the FT as there is no obvious political or marketing motivation and you'll only ever hear about Jordan if she were bludgeoned to death with a rubber cock by the chairman of a FTSE 100 company.
