yes

When all else fails pull out the race and gender cards.

Put a sock in it love, you're sounding like a broken record.

What a stupid, stupid woman. Because making someone redudant who ordinarily would have been safe under the fairly standard and non-descriminatory LIFO system because they aren't black/female/whatever that's not racist at all is it?

What's most interesting is;

All this labour opposition to cuts is a bit hypocritical, since during the election labour said they would be making cuts of circa £45billion.....as opposed to the Coalition plans of circa £60 billion.

So Labour were planning on making 3/4 the same cuts the Coalition are planning.

And she called for ethnic and gender monitoring to be carried out when public bodies axe jobs.
No really, Dianne, those are the jobs that are going, the ethnic and gender diversity co-ordinators.
Too bad, so sad, bye bye.

Experience does not equal ability, especially when we are talking about people who have been working for many years in a bloated administration.

certainly that can be true, however race doesn't equal ability either. All other things being equal I think saying "person X is more experienced then than person Y" is more likely to be a sound basis for choosing between them than "person X is black and person Y is white"!

If she became PM then it would be all white males who work must pay 110% tax and be kicked in the scrotum daily by a black lesbian

Of course, if these jobs are lost through redundancies, then the employee is irrelevant - it's the role that is redundant not the employee. Not that I expect the media/politicians to take any notice of the distinction.

Which is a good point where an organisation has only one person in a given role - in the even that multiple people do the same job then they will need some criteria to choose between the them.
