It seems the missing Uwe Gemballa has been executed in South Africa - appears to be a mad story because he's allegedly had connections with serious organised crime.

Shot in the head execution style and then wrapped in cellophane and dumped.

I've heard modding companies have been involved in organised crime before - drug running, that sort of thing. Surprised there's only been minimal coverage of this so far though

The correct answer isn't always the most sensitive one.

But it does right up til the end wink

Obviously not nice for his family / friends, but as said above, you don't get executed and wrapped up in a 'standard' mugging / ransom.

Maybe Gemballa as a company will turn their hand to RUF style modification instead?

She knew something was wrong as he spoke in English - a language they never spoke to each other.
The only other people I know who have this sort of 'contingency procedure' in place can't/would rather not discuss their day job.

After his disappearance, she hired a private investigator to search for her husband.
Instructed about 30 seconds after that call I would guess...

On the darker side of humour, just how many people have said he should be shot for what his company does to Porsches? I think there could be quite a list of suspects in this case...
