It looks like “our” EU foreign minister that nobody has ever voted for, let alone elected, has decided that attending the debate to discuss our EU rebate, wasn’t as important as an anti piracy conference in Mauritius . . . . . . . although it's nothing new, as she's failed to attend dozens of other important meetings, that could benefit the people of this little island

Yet another labour stooge, who has sold the UK out in return for a few pieces of silver at a cost of billions to the UK

“The anti-piracy meeting was a commitment made at a first meeting in Seychelles this spring. It is one of her priorities."

Come on now, if you were in the Seychelles and they said the next meeting was going to be in Mauritius, you'd write it in ink in your diary instead of pencil, wouldn't you?

Fek I can't believe these people 3 billion riding on it and "She has absolutely promised to be present when the budget review proposals are finalised on Oct 19,”

She didn't like her job in April. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/e...

She should be stripped of her pension and title at the very least, why oh why hasn't this great country of ours got any balls ?

Lol, you can just see it can't you. "Oh no! It collides with the EU's annual budget argument in Uttrecht. I can't do both."

Ashton carefully considering the options:

or

But let's hope this is the view she'll be seeing sometime soon:

ETA: Wouldn't want to waste a 9mm round on her. Maybe try rat poison instead.

There is no point trying to defend the EU on Pistonheads, but even as a Europhile I don't like Ashton. She needs to study some more history and geography; until she does she will continue to make serious mistakes based in ignorance.

From the linked article a telling quote:

"Diplomats, already unhappy with her inability to speak French or German, have accused her of speaking in "generalities" during ministerial meetings and briefings."

How the hell did she get the job if she can't even speak two of the main languages of the Union? Oh, and a salary of £328,000. You'd think she worked for the BBC!

On the contrary, she talks the two main EU dialects - Complete bks and Utter Horsest - like a native.

She's a member of the labour party and a long term friend of Blair and Browns . . . . . . . qualifications for the job didn’t figure into the decision smile

I'd actually forgive her her salary and have the EU pay for her to stay wherever she is for a little bit longer, say oh 25 years or so. And lets send a long list of her socialist brethren there too, the cost will be far cheaper than that of any further damage these filth will do to our country, while 25 years is the standard length to pay off a mortgage, which is what they have done in their failed socialist experiment.
