Maybe I'm just a heartless st but it doesn't really seem like that much of a bad situation?

I saw that report on BBC London News last night. What annoyed me was the usual "What if..." type embellishment which is a technique often used to sex up a rather dumb story.

For example, the question was posed - "What if one of the trapped people were ill, or disabled?".

They weren't - so don't try to pretend the situation was worse than it was.

I don't think you have though.

It's well known that all tube stations, especially modern ones like on the DLR are used as exercise yards for human flesh eating, government created mutants.

These are obviously far more scary than the usual cockernee mutants on show duing non-strike days.

Too right and I'll focus on the conspiracy theory aspect.

"What if I were disabled...?" It seems a throwaway comment, but clearly it's part of the Era of Austerity trying to deliver. Firstly by feeding the mutants free humans, but secondly reducing the Welfare Bill, by getting more scrounging benefit claims removed.

Bear in mind if they survive this horrific ordeal of being in a large building, then they will have their Family Allowance removed.

It's a conspiracy and anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar.

QED.

Actually this piece seems like an excuse for those commies at the bbc to be able to slate TfL who are of course controled by the Mayors office. Boris of course is a conservative. We need go no further.

Not that state television in this country has ever been shown to be biased towards left wing politics ever before. perish the thought.

I started to watch the video clip but that reporter was so irritating I had to switch it off. Anyone else thought he sounded like a camp Lloyd Grossman?

I would have been humming that well known Jam song "Down In The Tube Station at Midnight" untill that well known scene from "American Werewolf In London" sprang to mind then I would have been whimpering like a baby with a wet nappy.

'Commuter Juliet Schenker, who had been trapped, accused Tube bosses of running "an unsafe service during the strike".'

Not the strikers' fault then, the bosses.

Wonder how she votes then?
