Drug addicts across the UK are being offered money to be sterilised by an American charity.
Project Prevention is offering to pay £200 to any drug user in London, Glasgow, Bristol, Leicester and parts of Wales who agrees to be operated on.
The first person in the UK to accept the cash is drug addict "John" from Leicester who says he "should never be a father".
The move has been criticised by some drug charities who work with addicts.
Drug treatment charity Addaction estimates one million children in the UK are living with parents who abuse drugs.
Pregnant addicts can pass on dependency to the unborn child, leading to organ and brain damage.

devious or not i think its along the right lines. though saying that it is assuming that addicts will never break the cycle.

Usual lefties on the radio banging on about human rights of the addicts but bugger all mentioned about the rights of children being born into abusive situations.
I think I might donate to this charity.
Yes, let's eliminate the risk of bad parenting and grow children in jars instead. I think I might donate to this charity.

I often wonder if people who quote Huxley have actually read Brave New World. The book is ambiguous about enlightenment and authoritarianism. The savage gets caught between two worlds and despairs at both. Try reading it again.Anyway, drug addicts volunteering for sterilisation is GREAT news.
