2 more chancers caught out trying to scam an insurance payout, this is why we all end up paying more and coming on here moaning.
Don't why the Fire Brigade haven't named them, they deserve the shame.

...aye....some biatch tried it on with me last year when she claimed I had hit her car on a garage forecourt, she dropped the claim but never the less my insurance for this year went up by about 30%.
Also went to Crown Court last year when some Nigerian tried to claim whiplash from me, turned out this was his third claim for whiplash, he had been paid on the previous two....I hate these 'feckers with a vengeance.

Saddest part of the article is that they need cameras in the first place
article said:
Cameras are fitted to all 60 of the brigade's engines. They were initially installed to protect crews from attacks by yobs, and evidence has been used to convict people of public order offences and criminal damage.

"In a second case, a motorist claimed a fire engine sped away from a petrol forecourt so fast it collided with his car 'with such force that it moved the vehicle, causing damage to the car and injuries to those inside'.
CCTV showed it creeping away from the forecourt, brushing the bumper only slightly."

Last year, a taxi lone driver (mini cab) stopped in front of me (safely) and then dropped it into reverse. Before I could react, he had reversed into the front of my car, causing around what turned out to be £500 of damage.
The fecker then claimed that I had re-ended him. Barsteward!
After some arguments at the side of the road and faced with no alternative, I realised that I was in a no-win situation, so walked away.
Despite this, I still reported it to my insurance, knowing that I would face the finalcial consequences, but ultimately, I genuinely felt that there would be 5 x whiplash claims.
I think that I was lucky......
