By being such an disagreable icehole he caused a lot of sitting Democrats to loose their seats in Congess.
With a few more fiscally responsable bums in the seats the markets see hope.
I'm not really sure there IS such a thing as a financially responsable congressman, but it's got to be better

Earnings are up...but I prefer my analysis.

Quite. The markets were pretty static after the results, but before the QE2 announcement.
