Daily politics BBC midday, serious political debate expected. This week Lord Falconer used the word B*llocks in reply to a question he was answering. I have never heard such bad language from a high profile politician on television before. Apologies soon offered. The memorable moment John Prescott lashed out at member of public! Any other delicious moments from these or other politicians whilst in the gaze of the public I wonder.

Didn't happen in the UK, but in Ireland:

Mary Coughlan, (current Tainiste ie Deputy PM) whilst Minister of Agriculture (pretty big Dept in Irish Govt) tells a farmer to "Fvck off":

I've liked her a bit more ever since.

Isn't there a clip of some young MP in Ireland pre-empting what he was about to say with an apology for his most 'unparliamentary language' and then proceeded to say "FVCK YOU!" twice to the deputy something-or-other?

Oh yeah, forgot about that one.

He apologised for it, but claimed he didn't need to, technically. He was pulled up on his use of "Unparliamentary Language", but when they checked the book it seemed "fk YOU" wasn't included in the list of undesirable phrases, because when they wrote the list decades ago it never occurred to them that a Member would actually say it in Session....
