not really worried, might have been good to let the younger generation take over the reigns, but suspect queeny has a few years left
The longer she can keep it from Charlie, the better IMO.
Can you imagine Charles becoming King at 77 years old?
I can't.

If she becomes Queen, so what. She's the King's husband therefore she will be queen.
Pretty much everyone who doesn't like her tend to be Diana fanboys. Get over yourselves.

While you might not be religious, he will one someday (probably) as king become the head of the Anglican church. I find that unacceptable since he's a divorcee. And consequently unacceptable that she be queen. Pretty much everyone who doesn't like her tend to be Diana fanboys. Get over yourselves.

And no, I'm not an Anglican nor a Diana fanboy.

Look at it this way, We stand the chance of two coronations in our life time. Three for some. I reckon Charles should be on for a few years and when the novelty of propping the crown up on those ears wears off he passes the baton on.
We have a virtually exact parallel in history with Queen Victoria and Edward VII.Queen Victoria was our longest reigning monarch at 63 years 7 months in the job. The Queen will exceed that in September 2015.
Edward VII was the longest-serving heir apparent at 59 years 2 months. Charles will exceed that in April next year.
Edward VII outlived his mother by a little over 9 years.

If that fugly cow gets anywhere like that I'll become a republican and the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha clan can feck right orf!!!!Help me out here. Apart from calling himself King, what else has Charlie realistically got coming his way when HRH does part this earthly realm?
I just can't imagine him sitting about going "Come on, Mummy! Get a move on so I can have my face on the tenner."
Everyone is always making out that he can't wait for her to kick the proverbial.
You and I might get be left with something in our parents' will that makes our lives that much easier but his life is hardly going to get much better financially with her out the way.
I doubt anyone here is waiting for when their folks pass on just so that they can get their paws on their birthright. Just seems a little cold.
