Very good.

Sadly, you could publish that front page, at any time, in any country, featuring any set of politicians.

Says a lot about Britain though.

In Ireland the people have realised that it is the govt who have lead them to ruin, whereas in the UK the Govt has managed to get enough spin out over the last 3 years to get the public to think it was the fault of the bankers and their bonuses.

Are the Irish people more shrewed than the British or their politicians less competant?

Its certainly naff all to do with the Bankers bonus payments, but Banks have certainly made significant trading disasters greatly contributing to the current global financial crisis. And coupled with Various Governments of the World living well above their means has brought this capitalist model almost to its knees.

If only Paxman would grow a pair and show the latest headlines from the Daily Mash at the end of Newsnight every so often, this country would be a far happier and well-adjusted place.

That is, actually, a British newspaper. They print off a special edition each day for the Irish market.
