What made me laugh was them calling it the 'mother ship' were as most normal folk would call it a rowing boat.

It would be awesome if the RN decided to turn the main weapons on the pirate camp! 4.5 ENGAGE, RAPID FIRE!

A 4'5 on rapid fire is pretty awesome to watch and on a clear day you can watch the shells flying through the air!

Th article mentions that the ship sunk was a whaler, so I'm assuming that that rowing boat is much bigger than it looks - probably surrounded by mortar rounds exploding on hitting the water.

I'm pretty sure that picture is from that Channel 5 series. I remember them sinking a small rowing drug boat by shooting near it two hundred times.
