The armed guards have been driving behind Charles for many years now, since they've not shot Charles yet I wouldn't be too hopeful they'll do it any time in the future frown

Looks a lovely old relic as well. The car, not the contents.
Bet that Roller was absolutely mint before the educated masses got their hands on it.
Needs south africa style flame throwers.
Aromatic crispy peasant anyone?

Whoever planed the route had other motives and I'm not one to believe in conspiracies

That's the spirit....it's not the students fault for smashing it up, it's because they were in the area.

Is that what you'd say if you got mugged? "Oh, let him off guv, I shouldn't have been there in the first place"....

If you smash up other people's property, you deserve to either pay for it, or be put in prison.

I can't blame the students to be honest. It's pretty pathetic of the Royal family to show off like that by driving such an ostentatious car through a protest against increased education costs. All I can say I wish whatever hit the car had smashed the window and hit the tt in the face.

... or the students could employ the bankers defence - its not our fault because the government never stopped us; actually works just as well for muggers biggrin

The only other route available was via a tunnel, Camilla didn't seem too keen on that route though.

I note that neither of them seemed to be wearing a seatbelt.

You would think they would have learned something from past events.

Don't suppose they will be issued with an FPN each though. Maybe their driver will get them?

"If you smash up other people's property",
Being taxpayers does that car not belong to us, the populus.
I don't think the royals will be dipping into their piggybanks to repair it.

The Royals should invest in some bullet proof Jags or BMWs - their classic Rollers and Bentleys are lovely cars but not really suitable for situations like yesterdays.
