Radio 4 announce more suspected bomb plotters arrested
Discussion
As per the title Radio 4 'One o'clock News' has reported arrests of 12 suspected bomb plotters in the UK - apparently early stage plot but at a point when it was felt they had to be taken in.
Now, many of these things don't come to anything but they did question (and discounted) whether this might be related to a pre-Christmas spectacular reported/talked about on Islamists sites and in intelligence services and, as I'd heard nothing specific like this with so much apparent 'interest', wonder if anyone can shed any (real!) light?

Any links to these extremist Islamist sites?
Reported to be 'chatter' on such about some major attack planned on radio bulletins. I don't read the papers or frequent extremist Islamic websites - despite your recommendations ! HTH - hence the curiosity behind the post.Basically, wondered if I've missed something and those more in the know might have heard something about the nature and target of any such predicted attack on the UK.
Also, a little curiosity if this might be linked to the drone attack on the British drones last week.

Sorry, couldn't be arsed. Too much time conversing with [small]Which itself is frightening enough to scare me away from them.[small]

Is Sheeda out token Islamic representative here on PH?
I never quite know where he stands on these fairly large issues.
Do you think that there is a plan by fundamental Moslems to change the world to suit their view or is it a figment of our imaginations?
Secondly, if there is a trend by young disillusioned British moslems to hold these extreme views, why is that and what can be done to comnvince them of the errors of their ways?

As with previous such plots, it's likely that these guys were plotting in secret with no one around them really knowing what they were up to, so telling the muslim community to out these guys is usually futile as they probably know less than the intelligence services.I never quite know where he stands on these fairly large issues.

I'm glad the intelligence services are doing something about these nutters rather than just telling us about so called plots that never materialised and no one was caught.

But have found a new internet acronym!
pbuh
Mashallahpbuh
Reminds me a bit of Hitler's Germany, what with the obligatory need to 'Heil Hilter' and genuflect constantly. Can't they just take it as read that Mohammed (pbuh) was a jolly good egg and have done with it, instead of having to praise him in perfunctory style so constantly that the dogmatic response probably means f all and lacks any deep seated intent, or do they love him so much that they just need to bow and scrape every time 'his' name is mentioned? Weird with a capital W E I R D.

No i am not Mullah PH, i just enjoy erm debating. I stand firm, i am not a supporter of terrorism or extremism but i just resist keeping quiet when people post absurd comments. Plus i'm not pc.I never quite know where he stands on these fairly large issues.

Extremists do want to change the world to their own idea of utopia however, before Jim starts this is not the reason why we are experiencing so much terrorism/extremism our own or rather uncle Sams behaviour abroad is the main catalyst.
Your second question. Certainly my generation hold many views that one would consider extreme. I myself had very worrying views in my late teens / early twenties. Many of these apparent extreme views where formed after being bombarded with red top front page 'Muslim Scum' articles. What changed me was exposure and working with normal white folk who read real newspapers and obviously petrol heads and not to mention my father.
The same thing is needed for other disillusioned young folk. It is very easy to read a few comments, get pissed off and then get the dirties from a chav then start hating you white people especially after you have seen some of the s
t he yanks have been getting upto. However without any positive exposure to white people the only way is south. The key is integration and communication. BOTH ways.To add to this those youngsters with extremist views although may agree and support extremists those willing to actually do anything are very far and few.

Why is everything is skin colour with you ? I keep hearing white people this and white people that from you. You'd do well to explain to trait of yours too while you are at it - it doesn't come across well you see.
It's to make it easier for people to follow. Muslims like myself 'brownie / darkie' nothing PC about it. Average Brit 'white person' you don't find that offensive do you? Please don't come across all PC.
Never underestimate PH ability to take something out of context then try feeding it up your ass.
What I don't get is why you use skin colour to seperate people. If you talk from a point as a Muslim then just say that if that's the context its in. If you are talking of people who are not Muslims, then just say that, why bring skin colour into it ?
I'm not a sensitive PC type, just curious as to why you constantly refer to people in this way

Depends on the topic. In this thread i was refering to white poeple only and not to non Muslims in general. I should have made it a little more clear. Maybe ethnic English or something along those lines. Or then again, maybe it is my underlying racist side coming out. Maybe it's my racism from the past which does not let go coming out. Or maybe it's somebody being politically correct without realising it. Now for you to pick out the whole white thing and actively mention it out in the hope that you've just found the undercover racist... I'm not a sensitive PC type, just curious as to why you constantly refer to people in this way
