Does not bother me I can stand on the Meridian line in the office car park (give or take a few hundred yards)

There is, but the ine is outside the building and was totally accessable to anywone walking around the exterior. Is it going to be fenced off now?
Seems the museum will be free, but courtyard access with the line and clock will be charged for.Last time I went there (years ago) the brass line does extend right outside past the perimeter wall so slightly crappy photos there would be possible.

People do realise that the line extends a bit further than Greenwich, don't they?

Similar situation at Peacehaven on the South coast (just East of Brighton) where the Meridian leaves UK and heads off towards France.

There's a continuation of the line on the north side of that Thames too. It's a rather nice brass line on a paved deck here.
