China's state broadcaster used footage that appears to have been taken from a Hollywood film in one of its news reports - but not for the first time.

A China Central Television story about the country's air force showed an explosion that was identical to a scene from the 1986 film Top Gun.

Was going to post this up, although I would have used a title that people would actually understand and instead of going "WTF, why do I want to look at some sort of seaweed thread" btw what has fried seaweed go to do with Top Gun anyway? Shirrey you could have put Mavlick back in flighter prane after 26 year, as a title.

But good show China, would like to see a video of it lol
