I think his case is in May.

He's my local County Councillor and is due to attend our local Parish Council AGM a week before his case.

Should be interesting.

Thanks for that Stevibee, as you say it should be interesting. I thought that he had stood down and the Conservatives had suspended him so your mention of him attending a meeting soon as a Council Member is strange.

He's stood down as Leader of Essex County Council but retains his position as a County Councillor. I think this title can only be removed at the ballot box or if he is convicted of a crime - at the moment, he is just charged.
