Has NASA found Alien Life?

PZ Myers isn't often wrong when he's so vocal in discrediting something or someone. In fact in all the years I've been following him, I've yet to see it. http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2011/03/did_sci...
I've yet to read the 'journal', but it has all the hallmarks of being utter dross:-
1) Fox News broke it.
2) Fox News broke it.
3) It's published in a journal which has no credibility
4) Fox News broke it.
5) Said journal is from a bunch of people trying to flog stuff, it seems.

dunno, i guess 'serious' journals wouldn't touch it. too many people forget that science is about being wrong as well as right.
i read the article last night and decided that I wouldn't go as far as the authors have. I would say that there are features in the meteorite that are consistent with fossils of bacteria here on earth. these could be inorganic in origin.

I would have thought that if you were trying to find a country that had been utterly ruined by successive waves of mass immigration by people of alien nationalities, you wouldn't have to look very far...Gaspode said:

As to whose nation is getting the short end.....well, I will send you a how-to book on Sharia Law for Christmas!
Just a bit of irony for you on a Monday.

The bad part happens if and when a certain group of immigrants fail to integrate into their new society as well as support it.
How's that wig wam of yours coming along Jim?
BTW, the Indians have been well compensated for having been screwed; have you visited any of a countless load of 250,000 square foot, tax free casinos lately?Edited by Jimbeaux on Monday 7th March 16:04

No, if American Indian traditional housing is the subject of your attempted humor, it is actually called a "Teepee".....precisely.

Well no, actually, I wasn't thinking of the teepee, I was thinking of the wigwam. If you are unsure of the difference, I'm sure wikipedia can enlighten you. So it's ok to "screw" populations (peculiar euphemism for attempted genocide) so long as they are compensated for afterwards? Interesting moral stance.
