Surprised he didn't say "We all eat food, breathe air and breath out CO2-devils-bowel-gas", as a committed warmist eco-nutter.
Having said that, he makes plenty of good comments which I agree with.
For all of the CO2 mentalness, if we don't limit the number of people we're pissing in the wind frankly.Having said that, he makes plenty of good comments which I agree with.

We would naturally have a decreasing population as the Total Fertility Rate for women in the UK is around 1.95, this needs to be slightly higher than 2 to sustain population levels. There are two major factors in total population continuing to grow in the UK; increasing life expectancy and net immigration.
Whether these will continue I have no idea, but I do think that population growth is viewed by many economists as important for continued economic growth. Whether that economic growth is entirely desirable I don't know, but for certain we need plenty of young taxpayers for generations to come if we intend to honour some of our pension and national debt obligations.
Japan is probably going to be the first recent example of a major well-developed economy going through a population decline caused by low birth rates, 2010 is estimated to be their peak population year in this cycle.
I can think of several good reasons not to do this:
How about just stopping all state interference in family life?
No more tax credit, no more child benefit, no more rights to state housing based on your children, no more taking kids into account for any kind of state aid at all. You get nothing, ever in any way at all, for having a bigger family. You pay for your own kids.
Then watch an explosion in stable relationships (these are penalised by the current system), smaller families amongst those who contribute least and larger families among those who contribute most (they'll be able to this when they're not funding everyone else's kids).
- Who will be motivated by tax breaks? - People who pay tax!
- Who won't be motivated by tax breaks? - People who pay less tax!

Nice that this prick equates both my family and myself to a bunch of rabbits.

Are you one of the experts that helped with this:"We all eat food, breathe air and require space, and the more of us there are, the less of those commodities there are for other people and, of course, for the animals."
