Apparently he has a condition which causes rashes if he shaves – seems he isn’t growing hair elsewhere on his face though...

I suspect that the reality though is that this is the offence they can hang him and his family for, not the reason that they have expelled him.

I want studies conducted to show that mustaches cause civil disobedience. laugh
But seriously, what's wrong with mustaches? They get so much hate yet way back when they used to be a sign of sophistication.

Quite possibly. Although many of my mates did end up with a silky tache before getting hair elsewhere on their faces.

first point of moustache!

there was a kid at my school with a beard. after repeatedly being told to shave it he trimmed 1cm out the middle and told the teacher it was sideburns.

Or how about kids just do the fk what they are told for once without bleating about their rights. STFU and get on with your work FFS.

i bet they wouldn't dare expell a muslim pupil if he was to grow a beard.

and just how the hell can a tash be 'disruptive'?

Spats and top hats I'm fully behind.

Who cares? If it's against the rules, it's against the rules.

If the doctor is willing to write a letter I think it is a fair assumption that shaving could well irritate the skin to an excess and cause bleeding.

I get a lot of cadets coming with letters from doctors for reasons why they couldn't shave, doctors also recommend for when taking medication for acne.

Having your hair or even sideburns too long were against the rules and would have got you suspended at the school I went to. Not usually any fuss about it, rather we did as we were told albeit reluctantly.
