interest only loan against existing property?

I'm after an interest only loan against the house to build a cottage. House owned 100% Loan about 15% of house.

last year everyone was doing them but called around banks today and no luck. One said they couldn't as we have more than an acre? weird.

anyone a mortgage broker that can help?

Can you provide more details, amounts etc. Some banks will limit plot size they will lend on, I won't bore you with the details. But there are banks that don't.

Income etc would also help

I should add that I am not a broker, but the info above will help those that are point you in the right direction. I may know of a few places too

loan of c£120k, not splitting the properties so will remain one.

annoything thing is Halifax did one about 6 months ago
