We're currently at $1.60, feeling on the web seems to be split between $1.40, no change or $1.80 by the end of 2011. Very helpful.

Do any PHers have any sensible feel for where we're going to be at by close Q4 2011 and then longer term?

All depends on the resolution of the raising of the debt limit ceiling. Confidently and quickly or a total balls up which is where it looks at the moment.

My personal guess for the end of 2011 is 1.55-1.70

My guess would be 1.52 - 1.56 (although I would personally prefer 1.62smile)
With the Euro gaining on both.

Long term too many variables, like elections !

Well we're at 1.56 today, although I've still got my fingers crossed for a fall into the 1.40's!

1.546 currently.

It could get below 1.50 on the current run, but to move into the lower 1.40s would need the UK to be on its knees while the US starts growing again. Personally, I think their fates are too closely linked for that to happen in the near term. If The Euro starts to fail then both the US and UK suffer.
