Hi people.
I have just found out I have 105 Tesco PLC shares which I didn't know I had.
Right now the share price is 376ish. 6 months ago they were roughly 430.
I don't need the money right now and I know it's not a lot but should I just forget about them and just keep an eye on the share price week to week?
I think I know the answer here but if anybody knows if the value is going to drop considerably i'd be interested to listen smile
Thanks.

I'd hang on to them if I were you.
They will be up around four pounds again in no time.

If you didn't know you had them , have you been getting the divided you are entitled ? Might need to let the registrar know your address if not (Registrar is Lloyds TSB Registrars)

Thanks Plover I'll check to see if I'm entitled to any.
I may as well keep a hold of them in the hope they do go over £4 again. Hopefully near September so I can buy a car reg I have my eye on biggrin

105 shares is nothing, I've got over a thousand;). Though I have been buying them for 6 years.

Well it is 'something' it's 105 shares, but I congratulate you on your near four grand fortune.

I've got some somewhere too, a legacy of working at Tesco as a 6th former (still possibly the best 'gig' I ever had).

On the dividend side, from memory the default offer was more shares in lieu of cash, so you might have more than 105 now!

Just make sure it's more than 3 years since you received the shares as a Tesco employee otherwise you can't sell them.
