Hi all,

Does anyone know how interest in an ISA works after you've reached your annual tax-free savings limit? Basically I'll soon max my limit but want to keep saving in a no-risk, instant access account with a non-piss take interest rate (saving for a house deposit).

So, after you've hit your tax free limit what happens to additional funds in the ISA? Can you even add additional funds? Do they make no interest? The same interest with tax applied? Does each ISA have different rules?

Cheers,

Simon

No, you can't put more than the limit into your ISA, so the question of how the interest is treated never really comes up.
