I'm looking for an online execution only account, any recommendations? I'm tempted to sign up to the Fool.co.uk Share dealing service (£10 per UK trade and no other fees it seems), unless there are better alternatives?

i use tdwaterhouse. the platform is very rusty. Won't recommend it, though they are soon to be moved under new ownership.

i use iii.co.uk

£10 plus stamp for uk equities and if i remember it was £15 plus stamp for french equities. not bought any funds or usa investments yet.

i have set up a regular trading portfolio with them that takes £x from my bank on pay day then invests a few days later in the equities i pre choose and the cost is £1.50 per equity as its like a bulk trade discount. means your not as in control over trade price but the discount on trade fees is huge and i use this for my ultra long term investment portfolio and use normal trading forlarge sums where i need to know exactly what price i am trading

Cool, thanks for the info, I set one up with Fool.co.UK as I was keen to buy quickly, whole process took less than 30 mins.

Good to know iii.co.Uk will do bulk trade discounts.

I use the fool share dealing service. Seems to work fine and never had a problem with it.
