Expat Mortgages for UK property

Anyone recommend someone I could talk to arrange a mortgage on a property in the UK whilst I live in Hong Kong.
I figure wandering into to my local branch of HSBC they can probably sort something but willing to look at other alternatives.

The mortgage market in the UK is very risk averse currently. I would contact some Independent Financial advisers on here and see what they suggest.
