How the f
k do you get to a figure that low?
A 40 year old with a £200,000 repayment mortgage gives 5,000.
A 25 year old with a £200,000 interest only mortgage gives 4,000.
A 60 year old with £10,000 left to go gives 166 and 2/3.
Do you just really like diving random numbers by each other for no apparent reason?

Surely everyone on here bought their houses for cash?
Don't be stupid. We would have done, but even for such a trivial amount we can use the money to invest and get a better return that the cost of the interest on the mortgage. Often, we just take on another directorship and use the house cost pocket money to build yet another empire.
