Best savings account for m'boy!

My 20 year old has £2K coming his way in a couple of weeks and wants to stash it away for at least a year untill he's 21 to buy another car.

He also wants to add a regular monthly amount from his salary.

Any ideas as to the best deals in town for him?

I know it's a relative paltry amount but as they say, "every little bit helps"!
