I can't see a recent topic on this, however, I seem to remember last year that there were a few places doing decent rates on cash ISAs shortly before the end of the financial year. What are the best rates around right now? I've done the standard Moneysupermarket check so I'm aware what's advertised on there. I would be happy to leave the money in for 2 years if the rate was attractive enough and am unlikely to need it before then.

Thanks, AyBee

Santander doing 3.3% min £1, no penalties for withdrawals. As usual rate plummets aver a year though.

Best rate with no short term bonus seems to be Virgin Money at 2.85%. Highest with a one year bonus looks to be AA at 3.5% but it drops to something silly after one year.
There is a Nat West cash ISA with a good rate but there is a catch in that the funds don't transfer in for some time.

The AA are doing 3.5% at the moment....no transfers in though and 3% of that is a bonus...

Nationwide are offering 4.25% for a cash ISA if you move your current account to them. They are offering 3.3% on balance transfers or there abouts. I've made my appointment smile

Halifax is 4.50% on their 5 year cash isa

Eta, just seen you said 2 years, still always the option of early withdrawal if you do need it, not read the penalty charges for that though
