Trying to sort out my salary package, what do you guys get in car allowance per annum?

I am senior (director) level.

Any help would be greatly received...

Heh!

Depends on what sort of company you are director level at really.

Director level at a FTSE 100 will have a different package to director level at a 5 FTE headcount SME.

What sort of company cars do the other director have at your co? That is your benchmark.

Where i have worked director level car allowances have been circa £700 / £800 a month or a 30k list price car. Thats SME sized businesses.

Recently heard of a company that pays a 17% car allowance, which is about the highest ive ever heard of.

Bands at my last employer ($8bn turnover), allowances per month

Senior Manager - 375
Director - 525
Senior Director - 675 & fuel card (Generally people with a VP job title)

It was often said that the allowances hadn't changed for years.

Current employer is very generous at 680 a month for the director level staff.

I dare say they top their car allowance up with their own wages.

There is a lot to be said for not spending your car allowance per month and just getting a nice, cheap car that you have paid off and pocketing the extra 300 or so yourself

COO and CEO at 1100?

700 seems light for a director c£150k basic salary with what would be a 530d co car allowance??

Ok.

Should we really start quoting rough base salaries and the co car allowance associated which will avoid any roles which are not titled inline with equivalent roles in other companies
