where is all my money?

i know it's a rather ambiguous title but my question is this?

is there a central register that has a list of all bank accounts that i have money in? i ask this because i have bank accounts that i know were opened in my name when i was young by my parents but i don't know for which bank or the account name etc? they more thank likely won't have much money in them, but i'm a stickler for order and would like to consolidate all my monies into my current accounts so i know where everything is.

You could try asking each individual bank, but they may not respond positively.

You're welcome. It'll take a few weeks for all the banks that mylostaccounts contact to get back to you, but its the only automated way to do it.
