I need 6000€ in cash. My bank want silly money to handle the transaction with picking up at my local branch. Travelex direct is better but I thought I would ask the PH massive if they have any pearls of wisdom as to where I might go looking for a deal?

Cheers

Thomas Exchange in London give the best exchange rate in my experience. So much so that it's worth the travel down from Yorkshire to do it.

Where in Herts are you? There's a place on Edgware High Steet called Cash-a-cheque which always seems to have the best rates by far.

There's a place in Liverpool St station that does excellent rates if you order online.

I think you might mean ICE. They're dotted all over London and are hard to beat. Order on line 1st and print off voucher. Picked up my holiday euros today from Shepherd's Bush. £502 got me €620.
