RBS/ Nat West/ Ulster Bank Compo
Discussion
I politely pointed out I'd spent some time on the phone to them at my expense and they offered me £10 which, as it was more than I had spent, I gratefully accepted. If you are just shouting for some compo how are they supposed to quantify it? Sit down, work out what the problems ACTUALLY cost you and then have a calm discussion with them.
Recently (this year), I received £200 as compensation from Natwest. It was a fiasco that lasted six months. I was consolidating debt (I know, I'm sorry) and between 4 untrained monkeys, they managed to take £100 of my wage by mistake and mess up all the calculations.
Cost about £50 in phone calls to sort out too. I'd like to add that I didn't ask for any compo. I just kept getting the same letter every 2 weeks, telling me that they are still looking into my complaint.
