I will shortly be changing employers, does anyone know if you can maintain the 40% relief on the childcare vouchers which I am already contributing to.

My perspective new employer use Edenred who are the incumbent provider,

I have been told that the new employer will need to re register and that I will be limited to £121 per month as opposed to £243. This effectively means getting taxed at 40% on the £121 so £49 a month or £588 a year less.

Does anyone know if this is correct or not.

Many Thanks

Alex

This is correct. When you enrol on your prospective employer's scheme you will be treated as a new claimant and only be entitled to the new / current rates of relief.
