If you have to ask...................you're at the bottom looking up.
Personally I don't have one, I'll have to ask the butler what ones limit is

I have a stupid amount (something like £25K). It isn't based on logic or salary or anything else it just seems to have crept up over the (many) years.

13.5k if I remember rightly. However balance is zero and thats the way it stays. I carry a credit card for emergencies only.

Mine have the limits I asked for, £10k on both personal ones seemed plenty (at least double what I have ever spent on them and always paid off when due) though I have another work one with a 250k limit encase of emergencies.

Do you often find yourself in emergencies that require quarter of a mil to resolve?

Not that I have ever gone over £2k and it is paid off every month, my limit was £15k, until a month ago when I asked them to reduce it to £7k this was with Lloyds, my Virgin card is limited to £3k and yet I regularly get it up to over £2k then pay it off.
Obviously different criteria, I have been with Lloyds over 12 years and with Virgin 1 year.

Mine is £5000. It seems to me that they generally offer more credit to people who couldn't actually afford it.

I hardly ever use my credit card, and when I do I pay it off every month. A few years ago, when my girlfriend (now wife) and I were planning our trip to Australia I booked the flights and hotels etc on my credit card for the greater protection it offers. I found I was getting close to my limit (£2500 at the time) and so she offered to out some of it on her card...turns out her credit limit was double mine, yet she earned about a third of what I was earning at the time.

I also helped a mate out with some financial advice a few years ago. Said mate was earning not far off the minimum wage and had no real assets and yet he'd racked up debts of £5000 on just one card.

I think my one and only credit card has a £2500 limit. I do all my monthly spending on it and collect cashback. Paid of in full every month smile

Officially no limit, but they do speak to your bank form time to time to decide how big a balance they should accept.

Used £80k worth for a server replacement so yes it might happen, have a card for an emergency helicopter evacuation anywhere in the world too which I've never used but again nice to have.

Only have one credit card - limit is £25,000.

Mostly use a debit card anyway.

£10,000.

Usually spend £1000 a month on it.

Yep I found the less I used my credit card, the more they reduced the limit.
