Funds under management - how much?

My IFA recommended a particular fund (part of the same group) and when I asked how much money was under management in it he said it was irrelevant because it used external funds. He may well be right but I'm curious that he dodged the question. Can I find out somewhere?

If you google the fund name if should provide a link to the fund's fact sheet, which contains that info. He probably just dodged the question as in fairness its fairly irrelevant (I would want to know about charges) and/or he couldn't be bothered to look.

Which group as a matter of interest?

To be an IFA in the post RDR regime total impartiality is needed and funds managed in the same group sounds a interesting in that context.
