Hi all. I don't know if there are any accountants on here, but can someone tell me if losses from uk rental (Buy to Let) property income can be offset against profit from Self Employed income?

I know they can't be offset against Employed income, but wasn't sure about Self Employed income?

Thanks all if you can help.

Rental losses can only be offset against other rental profits or carried forward for offset against future rental profits - UNLESS the rental income is an integral part of a particular trading business (e.e. subletting the corner of a warehouse or an office to another business).
